Inspiration Project: August Sanders II

August Sanders was a visionary and capturer. He would try to capture scenes that would truly show those current times. He was born in Germany, his father was a carpenter and he also worked at a mine. He took art classes that allowed him to use photography creatively and also he shadowed a photographer. He lived through both world wars and his dark room was destroyed in a bomb raid. Everything he lived through shaped him and his photo taking style, with his pictures he would show all different types of people; Tall, short, fat, skinny, old, young, rich and poor. He showed the current situation of the times and he also try to re-image the German people to the world.

At first I didn't see the big deal in Mr. Sanders' work, but then i read what it all meant and it took me back a few feet. The way he tried t reconstruct the german people and the way he tried to capture his current times. Even though in the majority of his pictures the people were super serious it just added a different element to everything. He motivated me to show people  what is happening today and right now. He showed me how he carved his legacy so I can pave mine.
